In January 2024 we were rated Exceeding the National Quality Standards set out by our National Body, ACECQA and Regulatory Authority, the Department of Early Childhood Education.

Our planning and learning is catered to the individual child, we are always striving to meet your child’s needs through our play based learning approach.

Full Preschool Program
We work closely with the local schools to develop School Readiness goals that we work towards with our Junior and Senior Preschoolers. Our collaboration with these schools ensures the children have a smooth and seamless transition to formal schooling.
Connected to Mimosa Public School
We are lucky enough to be within the grounds of Mimosa Public School, enabling us to take advantage of their wonderful facilities including their playgrounds, library, oval, basketball courts, hall etc.
Our Story
Erin and Laurence Adney, the owners of Mimosa Kids, have been in the Early Childhood Sector for over 30 years. Throughout this time they ran a handful of successful early childhood services across the Northern Beaches. Over the years they let those services go and Mimosa Kids is now their only remaining service in Sydney. Back in 2020 Erin and Laurence began looking towards retirement and their son Chris and daughter-in-law Chantal, took over as Providers of Mimosa Kids, working closely with our long standing Director Ashleigh. Over our 25 years in operation we have developed a close relationship with the entire community and are proud of the achievements we have made over the years. Most recently our service achieved a rating of Exceeding the National Quality Standard, meaning we exceed the expectations set out by our National Body and Regulatory Authority.
